The first solowork of Basel's bassist is a real "solo" album; that means bass-solos without any kind of looping or overdubbing, it's simply bass.
But there's absolutely nothing to be missed; exciting grooves and melodic compositions make you forget, that it's only one instrument playing. There is always something fresh and unexpected that keeps telling a whole story with a frame ("Tanz der Steinböcke" dance of the capricorns), contemplative moments ("Could I Have Known?", "Nephilena"), action ("In flagranti", "Spring Roll") and mysticism ("Avalanches", "Asa Nisi Masa").
